What you should expect with our Free Storm Damage Inspection:
1) The Inspection
This is a 100% free, no-obligation inspection of your roof conducted by one of our roofing technicians. They will be looking at your roof, gutters, vent caps, etc. for any signs of wind or hail damage. They will be looking for broken shingles, slipped shingles, missing shingles, hail damaged shingles, wind blown shingles, soft metal hail damage, or any other signs that would point to storm damage. They will document all evidence of storm damage with digital photos, and then discuss with you their findings and suggestions.
2) The Adjuster's Meeting
Provided that you sign an agreement allowing us to meet with your insurance company on your behalf, we will meet with your insurance adjuster on your roof. One of our roofing technicians will be on site during the Adjuster's Meeting to make sure that all of the storm damage is properly noted. Not all, but some adjusters are only looking out for the best interest of the insurance company, not the homeowner. With your signed agreement, we would be representing you and looking out for your best interest to ensure that your claim is handled fairly and all damages to your roof are properly noted by the insurance company.
3) The Sign-up
After your insurance adjuster has agreed to cover your damages, he will supply you with a summary report. Once you have provided a copy of that summary report to our office, we will go through the report to verify that there are no discrepancies. When will then schedule another apointment with you to discuss the details of the contract, and let you select from samples of your shingle options.
4) The Delivery
Once you have chosen your shingle color and agreed to the terms of the contract, your order is then passed over to our field operations department. A few days prior to the beginning of your roof replacement, our Field Operations Supervisor will contact you regarding the delivery and placement of your materials and dumpster(if needed). Once your materials have been delivered, a representative from our company will confirm the accuracy of the delivery
5) The Installation
Prior to the actual installation, one of our representatives will take note of anything that will require extra protection, and document with digital photos. Once the crew is on site and begins working, our representative will be there multiple times throughout the installation to ensure that the crew has everything they need, and to make sure that you are getting the quality job that we have promised you.
6) The Final Inspection
Upon completion of the installation, our representative will come out and complete a thorough inspection to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your new roof. At that time, your file will be turned over to our billing department. They will send your insurance company a job complete invoice so that any recoverable depreciation your insurance company is holding will be released to you. The billing department will also send you a job complete invoice for you to submit your final payment for the work completed.
